Miele guide, Lebanon 2026
Why choose Miele: six reasons, and a seventh for Lebanon
Miele has made one promise since 1899: Immer Besser, always better. Better than the competition, and better than its own last appliance. For a family in Lebanon that promise has a practical meaning. It is the appliance that survives the generator, the water truck and the twelve-person Sunday lunch, that still has parts a decade after you bought it, and that one company in Beirut has installed and repaired since 1981. Here are Miele's own six reasons, and the one we add.

1. Quality: tested for 20 years of use

Miele tests its household appliances for up to 20 years of use before they are allowed to carry the name. A washing machine runs the equivalent of twenty years of family laundry on the test bench; an oven door opens and closes tens of thousands of times; a vacuum cleaner is dropped, dragged and run until the end of a life most machines never reach. It is why customers stay loyal across generations, and why a Miele in Lebanon is the appliance we see least in our workshop. No compromise on quality or durability: that is the whole brand in one sentence.
2. Technology: results with the least energy

Miele technology is built to deliver the best result with the least water and electricity, which in a country that counts amps and buys water by the truck is not a slogan. The honeycomb drum and TwinDos dosing in laundry, the AutoDos PowerDisk and AutoOpen drying in dishwashers, DualSteam in steam ovens, PerfectFresh in cooling, flow-optimised airways in vacuum cleaners that out-clean motors twice the wattage: features available only from Miele, and first places in product tests worldwide to show for it.
3. Craftsmanship: checked by hand, piece by piece

Every Miele is built with precision and checked before it leaves: surfaces inspected one by one by gloved hands, handles milled from a single piece of metal, gap dimensions that match across product groups so an oven, a steam oven and a warming drawer line up in one column as if they were one appliance. It is the difference you feel in the weight of a door and the click of a dial, and the reason a Miele kitchen still looks right fifteen years on.
4. Design: timeless, coordinated, intuitive

Clean lines, controls that explain themselves, from the rotary dial to M Touch, and design lines and colours that coordinate across the whole kitchen: CleanSteel, Obsidian Black, Graphite Grey and Pearl Beige, built to sit with any furniture front. A Miele does not date, because it was never designed to be fashionable.
5. Service: voted the best in the industry

Miele's after-sales service has been voted the best in its industry many times. The promise includes instruction in your home on how to use the appliance and professional care for it. In Lebanon that promise is kept by us: six Miele-trained technicians, 16 hours a day, 7 days a week, the genuine part in stock in Beirut about 90 percent of the time and the rest by DHL from Miele in 3 to 4 days, a full repair usually closed in 1 to 2 days, and a 2 year warranty extendable to 7, from the company that sold and installed the appliance.
6. Reliability: the most recommended, by the people who own one

In research by the UK consumer body Which? with 9,000 participants, Miele is the most recommended brand for five-star reliability across washing machines, tumble dryers, freezers, fridge freezers, ovens and corded vacuum cleaners, and holds the Which? Home Appliance Brand of the Year 2026 and Customer First Brand of the Year 2026 awards. Reliability is not what a brand says about itself. It is what nine thousand owners say when asked.
7. Parts: long after the last one is made
Miele keeps spare parts available for 15 years from the end of series production as a published commitment, and in our experience in Lebanon we still source parts for Miele appliances 15 to 20 years after they were discontinued. That is the sentence that turns a 20-year test into a 20-year appliance: when a pump or a door seal is needed in year twelve, or year eighteen, the part exists, and in Lebanon it is in stock in Beirut or three to four days away. Most appliances sold here are thrown away for the lack of a part that costs less than a delivery. A Miele is not.
The seventh reason: one dealer in Lebanon since 1981
Miele is sold and serviced in Lebanon by one company, Wakim Group, exclusive Miele dealer since 1981. One showroom on George Haddad Street in Saifi, Beirut, where the full range stands and works. One team that delivers, installs and connects anywhere in Lebanon and knows what a 5 amp generator line and a roof tank do to an appliance. One phone number for the life of the machine. We have written the practical guides for buying each Miele appliance in Lebanon, from the amps every model draws on a generator to which fridge holds through a cut; they are on our guides page.
